Our first time there after our favorite place in corpus closed. WOW what great food. The service was great, both young ladies knew how to engage with the customer. This is not food out of a jar or frozen. Great taste, the garlic knots were great. we also had the wings, artichoke dip, and salads. We got a look at some of the other dishes, really looked good. People at another table told us this their place for pizza. As of now this will be our place for knots, pasta, and pizza.
Delightfully bronzed cheese & Toppings and thin, crispy crust await you as your hot & fresh pizza arrives at your table. Nothing like the smell of a steaming hot pizza ready for you to dive into. We had the Supreme, and it was nicely sprinkled with a variety of meats & veggies and very tasty. The crust was crispy & firm enough to support a slice as you lift it off the plate & bite into it, not floppy & soggy as many pizza places can be. We started with the Cheesy Garlic Knots, which were totally covered in hot, melted cheese and a great starter. The Spicy Hawaiian is on my radar for our next visit.
My family and I visited Sal's recently. We enjoyed the experience. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was nice and the staff was very friendly. Love the Tromboli & Pizza.
Delicious food and good service. Everything that we ordered came out great. The spinach dip came with bread and it is very good. Pasta is so filling and rich. Then of course the pizza is great. We had also ordered a dessert which was like a coconut cake; it was amazing.
This is one of my go-to places for pizza and definitely Caesar salads! Atmosphere is quiet and peaceful and the service is pleasant and thorough. We have had take-out but the quality of the food is consistently better with dine-in. The parking lot is kind of tight and small.
Second time trying this place and I got to say they got a hell of a good pie. They sell slices on Friday and Saturday which is awesome. We ordered the pepperoni and an order of wings. My pie had a good crunch. The wings are baked but they weren’t soggy. It’s a plus it’s close to the house. Can’t beat it. We just moved to town recently, but definitely one of the better pizza spots I’ve tried so far
First time checking this place out and I am beyond impressed. The wait staff is super friendly and outgoing, and the atmosphere is pleasant. Upon walking in, you can see the various Stromboli on display and that sets my overweight heart aflutter. The food was so good too. We had a few starters with the Cheesy Alfredo Knots, and Mussels Fra Diavolo and both were exquisite. Afterwards we ordered the Pesto Alla Genovese and the Creamy Tuscan Gnocchi Bake for our main entree and I ordered a Stromboli because I couldn't resist it after seeing them in the window. Everything was excellent and danced on the palate like a champion figure skater. The desserts were so good, the Lemoncello Marscapone was nothing short of Divine and the Tiramisu, I would murder a man to have again. 10/10 would revisit to sample the other menu items.
Great food.. true pizzeria... Antipasto was delicious! House dressing was a nice basalmic that was nicely balanced and emulsified. The pizza slices were nice and large with lots of topping.
